Patricia Parsons Fales, better known as Patsy, was born in Damariscotta on July 25, 1932. She was the youngest of three children to Dr. Neil and Marion Parsons, who were known at the three P’s: Peggy, Polly, and Patsy. Patsy had many fond memories of growing up in Damariscotta.

David Llewellyn Osier, 86, of Bremen, passed away on Dec. 11, 2025 at his home – the very house where he was born on Feb. 5, 1939, the second-oldest home in Bremen. His life came full circle in the place he cherished most.

Chris L. Conary, 67, of Alna, passed away on Dec. 11, 2025 following an automobile accident in Whitefield. He was born on Dec. 19, 1957 in Long Island, N.Y. to Neil L. and Joan P. (Rochler) Conary.

Judy Marie (Taylor) Johnson, 64, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Dec. 11, 2025 after a courageous four-year struggle with cancer.

William Thomas “Bill” Spock died of natural causes at 96 on Nov. 1, 2025 at Thornton Hall in Brunswick. He was born in Bay Shore, Long Island, and raised in Leonia, N.J., the son of Estelle and Leslie Spock, a renowned geology professor.

Kara Nicole Overmiller, 32, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 9, 2025. Kara grew up in Woolwich and most recently lived in Waldoboro.

Gladys E. Glidden, 88, died peacefully at home on Dec. 3, 2025 with her loving family by her side.

Deborah Ann (Hodgdon) Westbrook, 87, passed away peacefully on Dec. 4, 2025 at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor.

Charity D. Farrar, 77, of Wiscasset, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, which would have been her 59th wedding anniversary, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Hanover, N.H. on April 3, 1948 to the late Clarence L. and M. Arlene (Elliott) Strong, of Littleton, N.H., where she grew up.

Kenneth “Ken” Lee Jones, of New Harbor, passed away peacefully on Sept. 18, 2025, at Winship Green in Bath, where he’d been a patient for the past six months.

Roberta “Robyn” Stevens Jones, of New Harbor, passed away peacefully on Oct. 24, 2025 at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor after a long illness.

Norman “Norm” Best, 80, of Whitefield, died Nov. 30, 2025, due to complications from pulmonary disease. He passed away at Hillside Terrace in Hallowell surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Rumford on Nov. 4, 1945, a son of Norman E. and Everdine (Knox) Best. He grew up in Augusta, graduating from Cony High School in 1964.

Lisa K. Shenton, 66, passed away peacefully on the morning of Dec. 2, 2025 from a brain tumor. She spent her final weeks at home, surrounded by loved ones.
