Russell Clinton Raynor Nov. 22, 1925 - March 7, 2024

Russell Clinton Raynor, 98, husband of the late Harriet R. Raynor, to whom he was married for 66 years, passed away on March 7, 2024 in his home in Round Pond. Russell was born in Mineola, Long Island, N.Y. on Nov. 22, 1925 to the late Mervin Clinton and Clara (Root) Raynor.

Lewis E. Boucher April 28, 1942 - March 5, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lewis E. Boucher, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Lou passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and success. Lou was born on April 28, 1942, and lived his life in, or around, the greater Augusta area until moving to coastal Pemaquid in the late 1990s.

LA Booster Auction Set for March 16

The 27th annual Lincoln Academy Boosters Auction will be held on Saturday, March 16 in the LA dining commons. Auction preview will be held from 4-6 p.m., the silent auction from 4-6 p.m., and the live auction begins at 5 p.m.

Openings Remain In Coastal Rivers’ Camp Mummichog Summer Day Camp

At Camp Mummichog, Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust’s summer day camp, nature education takes many forms: hands-on exploration, physical activity, art, music, writing, games, and more. All camp sessions are held at Coastal Rivers Salt Bay Farm on Belvedere Road in Damariscotta, a beautiful nature preserve featuring rolling fields, forest, and both fresh and saltwater marshes.

We are starting to gear up for spring and summer here at Healthy Lincoln County. We are updating our volunteer training forms, reaching out to farms, networking our summer meals program for children 18 and under, and thinking about all the ways we can support food security in our community.
