Richard John Bush passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at his residence in South River. He was 85 years old.

Myrna Louise Stetten Paye, 96, of Newcastle, passed away at her home on the morning of May 22, 2023. Born on May 9, 1927 in Adrian, Mich., she was the daughter of Kitti M. Dermyer and James W. Stetten.

A memorial service for Forrest C. Hunt, who passed away on Jan. 22, 2023, will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, June 3, at the Bunker Hill Church in Jefferson. He will be laid to rest privately at the Lincoln Cemetery in Newcastle.

Robert G. “Haas” Tobey, 87, died Sept. 11, 2022. Son of Hamlin and Kathrene Tobey, he was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 24, 1935, and raised in Oakland, Calif. and Landsdowne, Penn. He graduated from The College of Wooster (B.A. 1957), and Harvard University (M.S. 1958, Ph.D. 1967).

Jim Williams, 69, of Newcastle, passed away with his family by his side on the morning of May 17, 2023 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Born in Augusta on Nov. 19, 1953, he was the son of Ralph and Ruth (Reay) Williams.

Ellen Elisabeth (Borg) Kinzer passed away early in the morning on May 14 following a short illness. Ellen was born in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 8, 1948 to Walter Theodore Borg and Evelyn Alice (Nelson) Borg. The youngest of three children and the only girl, Ellen was a caretaker from an early age. She loved animals and gardening. Ellen enjoyed spending summers in Colorado with her mother’s family.

Hope J. Prahst, 92, of New Harbor, passed away on Saturday, May 13, at Cove’s Edge after a wonderful life along the Atlantic seaboard.

Barbara “Bobbi” Jo Belanger, 72, of West Bath, died peacefully with her family by her side at Mid Coast Hospital on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, after a brief illness.

On Saturday, May 13, 2023, Charles David Winslow passed away at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus with loved ones by his side. David was 61.

Joanne Henderson passed peacefully the morning of April 22, 2023 at Durgin Pines Nursing Home in Kittery. Joanne was born on April 2, 1926, the oldest daughter of Frank Martin Turner and Jeannette Waltman Turner, in Orange, N.J.
