Robert ‘Bob’ D. Hahn Jan. 29, 1935 - May 8, 2023

Robert “Bob” D. Hahn passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta. He was born on Jan. 29, 1935, in Waldoboro to George and Gladys Hahn and was the youngest of six children.

Norma Fall Stevens, age 90, of Augusta, formerly of Nobleboro and Kittery, passed away at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Long Term Care at Glenridge, on May 9, 2023.

Recently at the Healthy Lincoln County office, the team learned about an incredible farm in Waldoboro that not only accepts Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Electronic Benefits Transfer benefits, but also has a senior farmshare program. I immediately wanted to learn more about the work that they were doing!

Energy Matters: Think About It!

According to a recent National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration report, U.S. coastlines are likely to face an additional foot of rising seas over the next three decades. The report’s projections are particularly high for the Gulf Coast. If sea level rise along the eastern part of the Gulf Coast continues apace, it will match the high-end sea level forecast for 2050. NASA, too, reports seas rising at a rate exceeding even high-end forecasts at sites like Pensacola, Fla., and Dauphin Island, Ala.
