Medomak Valley High Sschool will dedicate its home baseball dugout in honor of longtime RSU 40 teacher, coach, announcer, and board member Dennis Wooster. The dedication ceremony will be held Monday, July 1 at 5 p.m.

Wildcats Win Medomak Little League Baseball Championship Wildcats 10 - Panthers 2
The Wildcats won the Medomak Valley Little League baseball championship, 10-2 over the Panthers on Dec. 15 in Friendship. Gabe Lash went the distance in the win, striking out 16.

The First defeated Colby & Gale 19-10 to win the 2019 Lincoln Little League softball championships on Sat., June 8. On the mound for the First in the win was Scarlett O’Brien.
Diamondbacks Sin Medomak Valley Little League Softball Title Medomak 15 - Fillies 0
The top seed Diamondbacks defeated third ranked Fillies 15-0 on Tues., June 11 to win the Medomak Valley Little League softball championship. The Diamondbacks finish the year at 13-0 and successfully defended their 2018 title.
Oceanside Grounds Riverhawks in Busline League Championship Game Oceanside 17 - Medomak 7th 9
Oceanside 8th softball defeated Medomak 7th 17-9 in the Busline League championship game on June 15 at Medomak Middle School. Collette Black collected the win, and Kaylee Kurr took the loss for Medomak.
Medomak 8th Boys Win Busline League Championship Medomak 14 - Nobleboro-Jefferson 1
Medomak Middle School 8th grade baseball team defeated Nobleboro-Jefferson 14-1 on June 15 in Wiscasset to win the 2019 Busline League championship. Hayden Staples collected the win for the Riverhawks (4H).
Vannoy Breaks Medomak Valley 1600m Record New England championships
Medomak Valley freshman Annie Vannoy broke her own school record in the 1600m run in 5:20.8 at the New England championships, held at Thorton Academy in Saco on June 8. She placed 26th in the event.
Brewer Defeats Medomak Softball in North B Semi-Final Brewer 6 - Medomak 1
Brewer defeated Medomak 6-1 in North Class B semi-final softball action on June 8 in Brewer. Libby Hewes collected the win (6K, 1B, 5H). Addie Jameson took the loss (6K, 4B, 7H).
Ellsworth Eliminates Medomak Baseball Ellsworth 6 - Medomak 0
Top seed Ellsworth defeated fourth seed Medomak Valley 6-0 in a North Class B semi-final match-up on June 8 in Ellsworth. Matt Burnett went the distance in the win, striking out 13, walking none and giving up just two hits. Medomak coach Greg Rice called Burnett one of the best pitchers in the state.
Lincoln Academy Girls Tennis Win State Class B Title Lincoln 5 - Erskine 0
Lincoln Academy girls tennis team defeated Erskine Academy 5-0 on Sat., June 8 to win the State Class B championship. The win defends Lincoln’s 2018 title. Caitlin Cass defeated Ellie Hodgkin 6-3, 6-0 at first singles.
Medomak Beats John Bapst Medomak 8 - Johgn Bapst 7
Ryan Creamer threw a complete game for Medomak in their North Class B quarter-final win over visiting John Bapst on June 7. The Panthers jumped out to a 4-1 lead, before the Crusaders rallied to take the lead. With the game tied 7-7 in the top of the sixth, Duncan Widdecombe rifled a relay throw to the plate to cut down a John Bapst runner. Carson Murphy singled in the bottom of the sixth and scored on an Eli McCollett single for the winning run.
Medomak Softball Advances to North B Semi-Finals at Brewer Medomak 2 - Oceanside 0
Addie Jameson pitched a seven inning shutout to lead Medomak to a 2-0 win over Oceanside in a North Class B quarter-final match up on June 7 in Waldoboro. The Lady Panthers scored both runs in the bottom of the fourth. Jameson reached on an error and Lydia Simmons singled and both came home on an out field error put in play by Stephanie Morse.
LA softball eliminated by Fryeburg Fryeburg 3 - Lincoln 2
Fryeburg hit a walk-off single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to beat Lincoln Academy 3-2 in a South Class B quarter-final game on June 5. Payson Kaler took the loss for the Eagles.
