Nick MacPhee, of Walpole, earned the Best Lifter Award at the 2019 RPS Maine State Powerlifting Championships at the OA Performance Center in Saco on Saturday, July 27. MacPhee won all three events in the 220-pound weight division of the open men’s class.

Medomak Valley 11&12 Little League softball all-stars defeated 5-Town 15-1 on June 29 to win the District 2 championship and advance to the State tournament. Kytana Williamson collected the win (8K, 4H, 1R, 2B).

The top seed Diamondbacks defeated third ranked Fillies 15-0 on Tues., June 11 to win the Medomak Valley Little League softball championship. The Diamondbacks finish the year at 13-0 and successfully defended their 2018 title.

Medomak Middle School 8th grade baseball team defeated Nobleboro-Jefferson 14-1 on June 15 in Wiscasset to win the 2019 Busline League championship. Hayden Staples collected the win for the Riverhawks (4H).
Vannoy Breaks Medomak Valley 1600m Record New England championships
Medomak Valley freshman Annie Vannoy broke her own school record in the 1600m run in 5:20.8 at the New England championships, held at Thorton Academy in Saco on June 8. She placed 26th in the event.
