Mark Zaccadelli, of Bristol, broke the Revolution Powerlifting Syndicate world record for the bench press in the open (any age) division, 165-pound weight class, Saturday, July 27 during the 2019 RPS Maine State Powerlifting Championships at the OA Performance Center in Saco.

Nick MacPhee, of Walpole, earned the Best Lifter Award at the 2019 RPS Maine State Powerlifting Championships at the OA Performance Center in Saco on Saturday, July 27. MacPhee won all three events in the 220-pound weight division of the open men’s class.

Medomak Valley 11&12 Little League softball all-stars defeated 5-Town 15-1 on June 29 to win the District 2 championship and advance to the State tournament. Kytana Williamson collected the win (8K, 4H, 1R, 2B).

The Rotary Wheels upset the higher seed American Legions 4-3 in a nine inning thriller on June 17 on he Barry Petrillo Memorial Field at the CLC Y in Damariscotta.

The Wildcats won the Medomak Valley Little League baseball championship, 10-2 over the Panthers on Dec. 15 in  Friendship. Gabe Lash went the distance in the win, striking out 16.

The First defeated Colby & Gale 19-10 to win the 2019 Lincoln Little League softball championships on Sat., June 8. On the mound for the First in the win was Scarlett O’Brien.

The top seed Diamondbacks defeated third ranked Fillies 15-0 on Tues., June 11 to win the Medomak Valley Little League softball championship. The Diamondbacks finish the year at 13-0 and successfully defended their 2018 title.

Oceanside 8th softball defeated Medomak 7th 17-9 in the Busline League championship game on June 15 at Medomak Middle School. Collette Black collected the win, and Kaylee Kurr took the loss for Medomak.

Medomak Middle School 8th grade baseball team defeated Nobleboro-Jefferson 14-1 on June 15 in Wiscasset to win the 2019 Busline League championship. Hayden Staples collected the win for the Riverhawks (4H).
