The next public supper will be Wednesday, Nov. 20. The menu will consist of cheese soup, herb rolls, salad, roast turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, peas, squash, and pumpkin cheesecake.
Villages of Light Returns Nov. 30
Now in its eighth year, the Villages of Light festival will return to spark one’s spirit and make the holidays bright.

Wiscasset Elementary Hydroponic Garden Bears Basil
Fourth grade students at Wiscasset Elementary School recently harvested basil from the hydroponic garden, provided by a Maine Agriculture in the Classroom grant. The students planted the basil when school began in September and have been taking notes in their science journals as they watched the growth occur.
Annual Karl’s Kids Benefit A Huge Success
The Rotary Club of Damariscotta-Newcastle’s annual Karl’s Kids fundraiser, held at Duck Puddle Campgrounds in Nobleboro on Oct. 20 was a huge success.
Letters to Santa 2024
Santa will receive a special edition of The Lincoln County News this year, packed full of your letters! Letters must include the child’s name, age, and town of residence. All letters must be submitted by Sunday, Dec. 1 to be included in the supplement.

Wiscasset Students Study Archeology on the Sheepscot River
American History and AP United States classes from Wiscasset Middle High School studied the archeological remains of early 1600s English settlements and Fort Anne along the picturesque Sheepscot River in late October.
NCS Joins Pumpkin Run
The annual Pumpkin Run at Lincoln Academy drew 18 students from Nobleboro Central School on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
Polling Hours and Places
The presidential election is Tuesday, Nov. 5. The polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at all mainland locations.
Scouts Enjoy Fall Camporee
Scouts in Troop 213 of Damariscotta had a blast at the Kennebec Valley Fall Camporee that took place at Camp Bomazeen.
Waldoborough Historical Society News
