Allen Richard Winchenbach, 71, of Waldoboro, passed away on Feb. 27 with his family by his side at Togus in Augusta after a long battle with cancer. He was born on May 4, 1946 in Waldoboro to Ralph Winchenbach Sr. and Beatrice (Genthner) Winchenbach.

Gloria Jane (Delano) Russell, 69, of Whitefield, passed away on Feb. 28 surrounded by family at Graybirch Nursing Home in Augusta after a long illness.

Joanne Vose Johnston, 86, of Jefferson, and a resident of Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta for the past 18 months, passed away on Feb. 27.

Henry P. Groth, 85, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at his home on March 1 with his family by his side. Henry was born in New York City, N.Y. on March 14, 1932, the son of Henry W. Groth and Anne Berhman Groth.

Steven W. ‘Bub’ Davis Jr., 35, of Waldoboro, died unexpectedly at his home Feb. 27.

Patricia Diane Sweet, 74, of Whitefield, died peacefully at home with her husband by her side on Feb. 24. She had been in declining health since October. She was born on Dec. 1, 1943 in New London, Conn., a daughter of Don and Helen Jarvin.

Christopher C. Carter, of Damariscotta, formerly of Avon, Mass., passed away Feb. 18.

Susan Elizabeth Graham DeCoster, M.Div., 70, of Waldoboro, died Feb. 23 at Eastern Maine Medical Center, surrounded by loving family and friends.

Chelsea Loren Phillips, 27, of Bremen, passed away on Feb. 15 surrounded by her family at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born on Feb. 20, 1990 in Bar Harbor.

Daniel Louis Sicotte, 71, of Damariscotta, also known as Danny to his friends and family, passed away on Feb. 23 with his family by his side after a year-long battle with cancer. He was born Jan. 9, 1947, a son of Margaret (Williams) Glover and his father Louis Sicotte.

Elizabeth (Liz) Marie-Anna Demers Duchesneau died peacefully at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, surrounded by her loving family, on Feb. 17. She was born in Auburn to Cesarie (Gagne) and Ludger Demers on March 6, 1929.

Carol Ann (Alley) Emery, 69, of South Bristol, passed away peacefully on Feb. 21 after a courageous battle with cancer.
