Peter James Clauson, 61, of Newcastle, passed away on Feb. 26 after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).

Dan Richard Baty, 83, of Bristol, died the morning of Feb. 27 at his home.

Janet Sprague, 82, of Wiscasset, passed away on Feb. 18 following a brief illness.

Robert C. Dowe, of China, passed away peacefully on Feb. 23 following a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Barbara V. Seefeld (Andrews), 92, died peacefully on Feb. 22 in Bristol, R.I. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Seefeld.

Lloyd E. Butterfuss, 62, of Westport Island, passed away of complications from cancer on Feb. 20. Lloyd was born Sept. 1, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wis.

Grethel Marie Beaucage, 70, passed away on Feb. 17 from a lifelong battle of Crohn’s disease. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Alton Perry Swett, 87, passed from this life to the next on Feb. 13 at Chase Point Assisted Living Center in Damariscotta following a brief illness.
