Selectmen/Assessors, Assessing Agent and Tax Collector will meet to set the Town Tax Commitment July 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bremen Town Center.

The Damariscotta Planning Board has adopted the following regular meeting schedule for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. Planning Board meetings will take place at 6:00pm at the Damariscotta Town Office at 21 School Street in Damariscotta. Special meetings may be scheduled and will be noticed separately.

The Town of Somerville will hold a Veteran’s Memorial Meeting on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Somerville Town Office, 72 Sand Hill Road.

The Wiscasset School Department will host a special meeting to present the proposed FY26 budget to residents prior to its Special Town Meeting. The presentation will begin at 5:30pm on Wednesday July 23 at the Wiscasset Elementary School, 83 Federal Street. The Special Town Meeting: School Budget will begin at 6:00, also at the Wiscasset Elementary School.

Morgan Myer of 1538 Back Cove Road, Waldoboro, ME, is intending to file a Natural Resources Protection Act (NRPA) permit application with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on or about July 15, 2025.

The Town of Friendship Planning Board will hold a public hearing for Ordinance Changes for Short Term Rentals, Land Use Charts and Definitions, and Private, Individual Camp/RV Sites. The Hearing will be held on July 10, 2025 at 6:00pm at the Town Office. Copies of the proposed changes are available at the Town Office.

The Great Salt Bay Sanitary District has a change in date for our July 2025 Trustee Meeting.

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Village School there will be a Special Open Town Meeting to discuss and act on the Jefferson School Budget Referendum which will be validated by secret ballot on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Village School.
