The Town of Waldoboro, Maine Board of Appeals will hold a meeting on Thursday, July 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Waldoboro Municipal Building for an administrative appeal at 122 Atlantic Highway.

Notice is hereby given that the Warren and Waldoboro Planning Boards will hold a joint public hearing beginning at 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 10th at the Warren Town Office meeting room.

The Town of Westport Island is accepting bids for the removal of approximately 15 hazard trees on town property. A detailed Invitation to Bid is available on the homepage of the town website at www.westportisland.gov or from the Westport Island Town Office on 6 Fowles Point Road during normal business hours. Bids are due at the Town Office no later than 6:00 PM on Monday, 7/14/25.

On or about July 14, 2025, the Town of Damariscotta will authorize the Central Lincoln County YMCA (the CLC YMCA) to submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of Economic Development Initiative/Community Project Funding (EDI/CPF) funds under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022 (P.L. 117-103), to undertake construction of a project known as the Central Lincoln County Childcare Expansion.

The Hatchtown Bridge located on Lower Round Pond Road over Pemaquid River in Bristol will be closed to traffic starting July 7, 2025. The bridge will be closed to all traffic for 120 continuous days while the bridge is removed and replaced. The bridge will reopen to traffic on November 4, 2025. A temporary signed detour will be in place to redirect traffic around the bridge during the bridge closure period.

Bid proposals for constructing a stainless steel garage at Pemaquid Beach Park will be received by the Bristol Parks and Recreation Department via email submission to Bristolparks@tidewater.net, or can be mailed to:

South Bristol Planning Board meets the first Tuesday of each month, 7 P.M., at the Town Hall on Clarks Cove Road, Walpole. The public is welcome to attend meetings. Applications for Permits are to be filled out and presented at the Town Hall the Thursday before each regular meeting.
