Crooker Construction, LLC. intends to blast ledge at their Alna Quarry on Tuesday, June 10th, weather permitting or on the next available good day between the hours of 10am and 1pm.

G.R.H. & Sons, Inc., 55 U.S. Highway Route #1, Nobleboro, Maine will be conducting a private sale of the contents stored in Unit #55. Unit #55 is rented to Adrienne Irons, last known address Woolwich. The contents include many different household items. The items will be auctioned off in lieu of non-payment for services on May 10, 2025 at 5 p.m.

The Town of Jefferson is now accepting bids for a 1 inch 9.5 overlay on the Egypt Road in Jefferson. The overlay will be from the Alna town line to Route 215, approximately 2 miles. The bid must include all aprons.

South Bristol Planning Board meets the first Tuesday of each month, 7 P.M., at the Town Hall on Clarks Cove Road, Walpole. The public is welcome to attend meetings. Applications for Permits are to be filled out and presented at the Town Hall the Thursday before each regular meeting.

The second half of 2025 taxes are due and payable on May 15th, 2025

The Select Board will hold two Warrant Preview & Feedback Sessions on 5/16/25 and 5/22/25 at 6:00 PM at the Town Hall on 1217 Main Rd., Westport Island. These sessions will be a review of the draft warrant, and fiscal year 7/1/25 – 6/30/26 budget.

The Municipal Officers of the Town of Waldoboro, Maine will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the municipal building meeting room, to hear public discussion on the Waldoboro Annual Town Meeting Warrant.

The Waldoboro Registrar’s office will be accepting voter registrations during the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm,
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and will hold evening hours on Tuesdays 8:00am – 6:00pm, closed Fridays for any Waldoboro residents interested in registering to vote. Personal identification and proof of residency is required.

The Wiscasset Water District will be flushing hydrants between the weeks of May 5th thru May 23rd, 2025.
