Wiscasset girls basketball game scheduled for Jan. 27 at Boothbay has been postponed. The Wiscasset boys and girls basketball games against Telstar, scheduled for Fri., Jan. 28, have been postponed.

Medomak Middle School will host the 2022 Busline League Cheering Championship on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 5:30 p.m.

Lincoln Academy’s boys and girls basketball games with Maranacook, originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 29, have been moved up a night to beat the incoming storm.

Due to the impending storm forecasted for Saturday, Jan. 29, the MPA Regional Cheerleading Competition at the Cross Center in Bangor and the Augusta Civic Center have been postponed to Saturday, Feb. 5.

Medomak Valley girls basketball team defeated Camden Hills 44-39 on the road on Jan. 25. Trailing 17-15 at the quarter break, the Lady Panthers out scored the Windjammers 16-4 in the second frame to take a 31-21 lead at the half.

Lincoln Academy boys basketball team were back to full strength Monday night in their 55-49 win over Waterville.

Both the Medomak Valley girls and boys basketball games with Oceanside, scheduled for Sat., Jan. 22 have been postponed. Make-up date TBA.

The Lincoln Academy boys basketball game vs. Camden Hills, scheduled for Jan. 20, 2022, has been postponed. A makeup date is to be determined.

Last fall the Maine Principals Association passed the buck on COVID-19 regulations for winter sports onto individual school districts. Decisions on masking, spectators, vaccinations, and other COVID-19 protocols were left up to individual school systems.

Lincoln Academy has postponed girls basketball games scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 20 against Camden, and Saturday, Jan. 22 against Leavitt.
