106.9 FRANK FM (WBQX, Thomaston) will broadcast several tournament games from the Augusta Civic Center, featuring schools in the Midcoast and Central Maine Area. FRANK’s radio coverage will include the Medomak Valley boys and girls, Cony boys, Gardiner girls, Erskine Academy girls, Boothbay boys and girls, Vinalhaven boys and girls and the North Haven girls.
LA Senior Swimmer Farrin Named KVAC Outstanding Male Swimmer
Lincoln Academy senior Braxton Farrin was named KVAC Outstanding Male Swimmer at the KVAC Class B swim championships held at the Bath YMCA on Feb. 10. Farrin won both the 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle. He also swam a leg on the Eagles KVAC championship 200 free relay team, and their second place 200 medley relay team.

Boothbay girls basketball team finished their MVC season with a 16-2 record and are seeded second in South Class C. The Lady Seahawks take on the winner of Sacopee and Kents Hill on Tues., Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center.

Regional Wrestling and State Cheering to Start at Later Times
Class A and D cheering, originally scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on Sat., Feb. 8, is now scheduled to start at 6 p.m. The Class B and C championships start at 2 p.m. State cheering will be held at the Augusta Civic Center.
