Arthur E. McFarland Sr., 92, passed away on the morning of Feb. 5, 2024, at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta, surrounded by his loving family.
Constance Pennington Young
Constance Pennington Young, known as Penny, died on Jan. 19, 2024 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. She had been battling leukemia (chronic lymphocytic leukemia) and was still recovering from a bad fall from her horse in October of 2022, but died of a massive stroke.

Marlene Rines, 85, formerly of Edgecomb, passed away in the loving company of her daughter on Jan. 22, 2024 after a short stay at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

In the early morning hours of Sunday, Sept. 8, 1957, Stephen Leverett Chase was born at Miles Memorial Hospital, now LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus, in Damariscotta, to parents Norman L. Chase Sr. and Jean Mary Eugley Chase.
