Charles Kevin Mullin, of New Harbor, Bonita Springs, Fla., and Charlottesville, Va., passed away on Nov. 21, 2022 in Charlottesville, in the presence of his loving family. He was 86 years old.

Thomas G. Lee, 72, of Jefferson, passed away at his home on July 13, 2023, with his wife by his side. Thomas was born on Jan. 12, 1951 to Clifford and Ethel (Carver) Lee.

Robert J. Piper Sr., 86, of Damariscotta, passed away on June 27, 2023, while visiting family in Sedona, Ariz.
Stephen Bailey
Stephen “Beetle” Bailey met his savior July 1, 2023, after a nine-day battle with cancer. He spent his last days surrounded by his posse; a group of friends like most people will never be blessed with. A person is defined by their friends and Stephen was surrounded by some of the most genuine, honest people known to man. His lifelong friend, Dana, traveled a thousand mils to join Stephen and his friends in Stephen’s time of passing.

Sharon Norma Morton Elliott, born Feb. 17, 1945, in Damariscotta died May 21, 2023. She is survived by her daughters, Bobbi Lee Elliott, of Nobleboro, and Stacy James, of Damariscotta; her grandchildren, Harley Rose Clifford and Tyler Caleb Elliott James; her brother, Peter Morton, of Damariscotta; and sister; Wendy Follett, of Damariscotta.

Marie A. Schumann, 79, of Camden, passed away early Monday morning, July 10, 2023, at Harbor View Cottage in Newcastle, where she had spent the last four years, with the caregivers who loved her. Her time with Alzheimer’s is finally over.

The Caterpillar Lab Returns to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

The Lincoln County Democratic Committee announced plans to host its annual Family Fun Day Lobster Bake, scheduled noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6. The event will occur under the Democratic big tent on the rolling landscape of Cider Hill Farm at 785 Main St. in Waldoboro.
