Leland Leroy Wallace, 84, died June 11 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta. He was born April 13, 1939 in Damariscotta to Eben Wallace and Edith Winchenbach Wallace. Leland grew up in Waldoboro and graduated from Waldoboro High School.

Chester “Gene” Chubbuck, of Edgecomb, died May 25, 2023 from complications of dementia after a stay at the Maine Veterans’ Home in Scarborough.

Steven Emery Young, 76, of Whitefield, passed away on May 31, 2023. He is survived by his sister, Judy Curtis; his wife, Carol Young; his four children, Terry Ward, Jason Young, Shane Young, and Michelle Young; his eight grandchildren; and his eight great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

Ramona Thompson Gaudette, of Southport Island, passed away June 4, 2023.

Harry Emmons passed away on June 10, one day after celebrating his 106th birthday with family and friends at Chase Point in Damariscotta. Born in Jamesburg, N.J. in 1917, Harry is survived by his son, Robert and wife, Holly, of South Bristol. He is also survived by his grandson, Lee, of Newcastle, his wife, Rebecca, and devoted great-granddaughter, Natalie.
Billie Marion MacGregor
Billie Marion MacGregor, born Jan. 1, 1934, in Jersey City, N.J. to her parents Agnes (nee Szott) and William B. Smith. Billie attended Saint Anthony’s Grammar School and Ferris High School in Jersey City. After graduation she worked at the New Jersey Window Cleaning Company as a bookkeeper, office administrator, and manager.
