Investigators with the Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office have determined that a child playing with matches started the fire that killed two Chicago men in Boothbay the morning of Sunday, Oct. 9, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.

A 24-year-old Waldoboro woman was taken by ambulance to LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus with non-life-threatening injuries after a rollover at the corner of Main Street and School Street in Damariscotta the morning of Thursday, Oct. 13.

Two men died and four people were injured in a house fire at 116 Pleasant Cove Road in Boothbay the morning of Sunday, Oct. 9.

Baldomero Zamora, 50, and Lucas Farias, 23, both of Chicago, died in the fire, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
