The memorial service for Elizabeth Bickford, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 18, has been postponed because of the current limit on gatherings. It will now be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, June 6 at the Damariscotta Baptist Church.

County Requests Donations of Personal Protective Equipment
The Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency’s emergency operations center, on Wednesday, March 25, issued a request for new, unused personal protective equipment to assist front-line emergency medical services, fire department, and law enforcement personnel; health care providers; and health care facilities responding to COVID-19.

Tina’s Daylilies is American Daylily Society Display Garden
Tina’s Daylilies, on East Pond Road in Jefferson, is now a display garden for the American Daylily Society. This garden is only the third American Daylily Society display garden in the state of Maine and the only historic garden listed in the state of Maine, according to the American Daylily Society website.
County Commissioners Take Steps to Protect Employees, Constituents
In response to the spread of COVID-19 and confirmed cases within Lincoln County, the county commissioners have taken steps to protect employees and constituents. Effective Tuesday, March 17, the county courthouse offices will remain operational, but in-person access will be restricted. These restrictions will be in place until further notice.
