The Alna Food Pantry is located on the back lower level of the town office, 1574 Alna Road. It is open Wednesday afternoons from 3 to 5 p.m. 

MaineHealth is altering slightly its policy with respect to how care team members return to work after a case of COVID-19, dropping a requirement for a negative antigen test following a completed quarantine period, according to a news release. The change does not conflict with existing CDC guidance for returning health care team members to the workplace after contracting COVID-19.

The Maine court-appointed special advocates program is holding its spring training for volunteer advocates on March 8-11. This four-day, online training is free and is designed to prepare attendees for certification as volunteer guardians ad litem in the Maine District Courts.
