People to People, the free clothing exchange in the basement of the Damariscotta Baptist Church, 4 Bristol Road, has returned to normal capacity limits.

At 1 o’clock, the Hodgkin brothers and The Regulars, a team of retired volunteers, finished building a ramp for Jonathan Hodgkin. At 1:05 p.m., Jonathan arrived home.

Bristol Book Ends, the Bristol Area Library’s used bookstore, first opened its doors in May 2018. After a brief closing due to the pandemic, the store is now back to regular hours. Shop year-round from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; 2 to 4 p.m. Thursdays; and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays.

On Nov. 15, Midcoast Conservancy accepted a generous donation of the 51.7 acre Goose River Woodland Preserve in Waldoboro from Luther Black.

This month, Erica Berman, a Newcastle resident and founder of Veggies to Table, is featured in the Winter 2021 issue of Maine Homes by Down East magazine. Given a column in the magazine’s latest issue, Berman runs Veggies to Table, a local nonprofit organization that grows top-quality organic produce and flowers, donating them to Mainers experiencing food insecurity and needing joy.

Lincoln County Toys for Tots volunteers, led by coordinator Lisa Marr, have been hard at work raising funds and awareness and preparing toys for distribution to local parents. The Carpenter’s Boat Shop supported the toy drive by delivering 20 handmade wooden airplanes to the toy drive headquarters at the Huntoon Hill Grange in Wiscasset last weekend.
