The Pemaquid Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution furnished a contemporary coastal-themed miniature dollhouse valued at over $500 for a fundraiser to help raise money to purchase a trailer for the Boothbay V.E.T.S. project for homeless veterans. Each trailer costs $8,000 to complete.
Food Pantries
The Alna Food Pantry is located on the back lower level of the town office, 1574 Alna Road. It is open Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 5 p.m. All area residents are welcome, no questions asked.
Villages of Light Returns Nov. 26-27
The fifth annual Villages of Light festival in the Twin Villages of Damariscotta and Newcastle will be held on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 26-27. The elves are hard at work to spark community spirit this holiday season.

2022 Calendars Available from Damariscotta Historical Society
The Damariscotta Historical Society’s 2022 calendar is available, featuring 13 historical pictures. This year’s images include the first snowmobile in Damariscotta from around 1920. Dr. Robert Belknap drove it around in the winter to see patients.

This notice is for all motorists that park on any street or road, or in the municipal parking lot after hours in Damariscotta. In accordance with the Town of Damariscotta Traffic and Parking Ordinance, Article 1.17 Winter Parking, parking is prohibited on any street, road, or municipal parking lot from Nov. 15 to April 15 between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.
