The Newcastle-based online retailer Citizen Maine opened a new storefront in downtown Damariscotta on March 18.

After a two-month closure, the Newcastle Publick House will reopen Thursday, April 1 with a new menu, a new management structure, and a rearranged and rejuvenated dining room.
