On May 4, 2023, Wade Walter Wright, beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away at the age of 53. Wade was born in Damariscotta, to James and Corinne Wright. He was a loving father to his precious daughter, Tayler Wright; a cherished brother to Wende Marshall (husband Greg), Karen Wright, and Brad Wright (wife Misty); and an adoring uncle to Katherine, Nathan, Vivian, and Owen.

Robert “Bob” Gorrill, 86, of Damariscotta, passed away on the morning of May 6, 2023 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Born in Boston, Mass., on Feb. 25, 1937, he was the son of Robert and Bessie Gorrill.

Beverly “Bev” Ann McPhail, age 70, of Topsham, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, May 3, after a battle with lung cancer.

Gwendolyn Marie Swank, 96, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, at Cove’s Edge Nursing Home in Damariscotta. Gwen was born on Oct. 17, 1926 to George and Flossie (Bisel) Rogers in Shelby, Ohio. She was one of four children, sisters, Dorothea and Evelyn, and brother, George Jr.
