Mary Ann “Berry” Moulton, aged 71, passed away on June 15, 2024, in Wiscasset. Born on March 11, 1953 in Gardiner, Mary is survived by brother, Frederick Berry Jr. and wife, Janice, of Washington; and sister, Donna Burrill, of Skowhegan; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

William Henry Zuber II, of Friendship, began his final expedition on June 19, 2024 at the age of 88, after a short illness. Born in Manalapan, N.J., the son of Ethelmae (Kroll) and William Henry Zuber on March 10, 1936, Bill grew up on a farm in New Jersey, attended Manasquan High School, Admiral Farragut Academy, and was a graduate of Rowan (Glassboro) University.

Barbara “Barb” Lakin, 78, left us for a better place on June 8, 2024, after a long battle with diabetes. Barb’s parents, Donald Lakin and Gladys Charlton Lakin, met in Worcester, England during WWII. Barb was born there on March 21, 1946 and arrived in the U.S. with her mother 18 months later to join her father in Bath. The family moved to Sheepscot in 1954 where Barb grew up and graduated from Lincoln Academy in 1964.

Nathan Bates Witham, oldest child of the Rev. Cecil Witham and Afton Bates Witham Haggett was born on Aug. 14, 1938, in Rockland. He passed away peacefully after a short illness on May 28, 2024, in Holzminden, Germany, where he lived for many years. He was predeceased by his parents; and his two brothers, Barry and Robert “Jake.”
