The fishing community lost another one of their own when Maitland Roger Williams passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2019. Maitland was born in Damariscotta, the son of Roger and Jacqueline Williams, and was 37 years old.

Wayne R. Harvey, 66, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at his daughter’s home with his loving family by his side. Wayne was born in Damariscotta on Dec. 29, 1952 to parents Sheldon Harvey and Minnie Ivy Carter Harvey.

Carole L. Goodman, 68, of Bridgton, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from a tragic accidental fall on July 3, 2019.

Dr. Diane Kurtzberg Vaughan, 75, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2019 at her winter home in Stamford, Conn. after a long-fought brave battle with lung cancer. Diane was born on Nov. 10, 1943 in Brooklyn, N.Y., beloved daughter of the late Jean and Morris Kurtzberg.

We are sad to announce the death of RADM Theodore E. Lewin, 85, of Alexandria, Va., on June 17, 2019 after a brief illness. RADM Lewin was born in Rockland, the son of Brig Gen Theodore E. and Florida Cooke Lewin.

“When an old man dies we lose a library.” Willem Jansen, a longtime resident of Round Pond, died at Harborview June 30, 2019 of Alzheimer’s and cancer. He was a vast library.

Bradford Michael Christopher, 39, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Lewiston on May 29, 2019. Born in Tarzana, Calif. on March 31, 1980, he was a son of Michael and Renee Christopher of Alna.

Charles ‘Gil’ Reynolds, 90, passed away peacefully at his home in New Harbor surrounded by his loving family on June 15, 2019. Gil was born on Oct. 16, 1928 in Somerville, Mass. to Charles F. Reynolds and Mary K. Cuttle.

John Willis Osier, 90, passed away on June 18, 2019 at The Sussman House in Rockport. John was born on May 19, 1929 in Bremen to parents Llewelyn Osier and Florance Hilton Osier.
