Daniel William Manning, 68, passed away peacefully July 9, 2025, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 21, 1956, in Leominster, Mass., the son of Burton W. Manning and Shirley P. Manning.

Daniel Gerard Buckley, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025. Born on Feb. 2, 1936, in Stoneham, Mass. to Daniel J. and Helen M. Buckley, he grew up in Reading, Mass. and graduated from Matignon High School in Cambridge, Mass.

Douglas “Dougie” Orrin McLain Jr., 68, of Walpole, passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2025. The son of Douglas McLain Sr. and Ann Mirando McLain, he was born May 23, 1957 in Damariscotta. He attended Bremen Grade School and Lincoln Academy.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dianne “Dinah” Oliver Moore, 86, of Scarborough, who passed away peacefully at her home after a hard-fought battle with Bulbar ALS on July 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Benjamin “Ben” Maynard, 41, of Longmeadow, Mass. and formerly of Nobleboro, passed away on June 25, 2025 after a long and valiant battle with brain cancer that began in 2011.

Frank P. King, 97, of Nobleboro, passed away at home on the morning of July 8, 2025. Born in Utica, N.Y. on Nov. 19, 1927, he was orphaned and at two was adopted by Anthony and Bhula King. He went on to have five siblings (all deceased), Anthony, Dorothy, Thomas, Donald, and Caroline.

Ethel Stansfield, of Wiscasset, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 8, 2025.

Robert H. Flory Jr. died in his home in Walpole on July 3, 2025 among the people he loved most in the world: his wife, Kathleen, and his family: Brian, Sally, Will, Ryn, and Fritz.

David Glidden, 75, formerly of Damariscotta and Newcastle, passed away on the afternoon of June 29, 2025 after a period of declining health. Born in Damariscotta on May 8, 1950, he was the son of Doris and Bentley Glidden.

Lila Blechman, formerly Lila Hanson, nee Lila Lucy Bullock, died peacefully on June 21, 2025. Lila was born Oct. 29, 1921 to Dorothy Julia Smith and Earl Clayton Bullock in the family farmhouse in Underhill Center, Vt. She was the third of seven children and the last of her generation.

Robert Alan Benner, 89, a lifelong resident of Waldoboro, passed away on July 3, 2025 with his daughter Teresa Bailey by his side. He was born to Otis and Ida E. (Jackson) Benner on Feb. 3, 1936.
