Charles Nathaniel Jewett, 92, lifelong resident of Alna, died at his home on Oct. 29, surrounded by his family.

Willard R. Bailey, 87, of Jefferson, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Oct. 31 at the LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Born at his home on Dec. 4, 1929 in South Jefferson, he was the son of Perley and Thelma (Bosworth) Bailey.

Sandra J. Danley, 70, of Damariscotta, passed away Nov. 2 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

Eugene E. Broughton, 86, of Whitefield, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side.

Joseph Francis Cook, Sr., 69 of East Boothbay, passed away at his home in the early morning hours of Oct. 28 with his beloved family by his side.  

Westford (Wes) Milton Hannan, 79, of Greene, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of Oct. 28 at the Hospice House in Auburn, after a long courageous battle with chronic lung disease. Born on April 12, 1938, he was the son of Chester “Fes” and Alma Hannan.

Albert William Rottner, 91, of Pemaquid, passed away on the evening of Oct.28 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Born on June 2, 1926 in Newark, N.J., he was the son of Hugo and Mary (Cameron) Rottner.

Henry James Wellman, 69, died on Oct. 25, 2017 at his home in Washington.  Henry was born June 29, 1948 in Damariscotta to James and Virginia Creamer Wellman.  He grew up in Waldoboro and attended local schools.
