Carol Jean Curran (nee Gifford), 80, of New Harbor, died on May 10, 2022, at Calvert Memorial Hospital, Prince Frederick, Md. She was born Jan. 8, 1942 in Damariscotta. She graduated from Bristol High School in 1960. She attended the University of Maine-Portland studying liberal arts, where she met her husband of over 60 years, John Anthony Curran.

Diana Huntress Dowse, 72, went home to be with God on May 27, 2022 at the Sussman House in Rockport. She died of early onset Alzheimer’s disease. She was a resident of the Riverside Memory Care Unit and Chase Point Assisted Living facility in Damariscotta.

Eugene Roland Kelley Aug. 10, 1951 - May 27, 2022
In 2016, our dad had a stroke. Doctors gave us very little hope that he would survive. He proved them wrong. He not only survived, he thrived. It was his second chance, and he celebrated his “birthday” every February since. Dad died at his home in Damariscotta on May 27, 2022. He was six.
Michael T. Bucci
Michael T. Bucci was born in 1947 in Atlantic City, N.J. He attended Berklee School of Music in Boston on a scholarship from Down Beat Magazine in 1965, as well as Milwaukee School of Engineering and Castleton State College in Vermont. Bucci taught experimental music in six Boston-area high schools in the early 1970s on a federally funded Title VI grant and produced “sound collages” for radio station WBUR in Boston.
