Medomak Valley Little League 11&12 softball all-stars defeated Lincoln Little League 9-4 on July 6 to clench the District 2 championships, and earn a berth in the state tournament. Kendall Wyman collected the win (9K, 4B, 1HP, 3H). Olivia Ball took the loss for Lincoln (8K, 9B, 4H).

The undefeated Lions wrapped up their season perfectly (12-0) with a 2-1 win over the American Legions to win the Lincoln Little League baseball championships on June 18 in South Bristol.
Wildcats Win Medomak L.L. Baseball Crown Wildcats 6 - Panthers 0
The Wildcats defeated the Panthers 6-0 on June 16 in Warren to win the Medomak Valley Little League baseball championship.
Warren Hornets Win MVLL Softball Championship Hornets 17 - Diamondbacks 3
The Warren Hornets captured the Medomak Valley Little League softball championship on June 16 on Foster Field in Waldoboro. The Hornets defeated the Diamondbacks 17-3 in five innings. The Diamondback forced a second game for the championship with a win on June 14.
Lincoln Academy Sports Hall of Fame Inducts Four
The Lincoln Academy Alumni Association is pleased to announce that four individuals will be inducted into the LA Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, June 18. A reception will be held in the Lincoln Academy dining commons at 2 p.m. followed by the awards ceremony. The public is welcome to attend.
First National Captures Lincoln LL Softball Crown First National 12 - Colby & Gale 3
First National Bank defeated Colby & Gale 12-3 on June 11 to win the Lincoln Little League softball championship. Olivia Ball collected the win. Aubrie Brewer and Claire Ward hit doubles in the win, and Katherine McDonald, Ellie Flagg (2 RBI), and Ball hit a single each.

The Lincoln Academy girls tennis team won the State Class B championship over Waterville on Saturday, June 11.
Panthers and Eagles Eliminated Friday, June 10 sports round-up
Medomak baseball and softball teams were eliminated in the South Class B quarter-finals, and Lincoln Academy girls lacrosse was eliminated in Class C, on June 10.
HAL Grounds Riverhawks for Busline Baseball Crown Hal 17- Medomak 7th 4
Undefeated Hope – Appleton – Lincolnville 8th grade baseball team defeated the younger Medomak 7th to win the Busline League championships on June 10 in Rockport. Thomas Leadbetter collected the win.
Three Local Athletes Crowned State Champions
Three local athletes won state championship titles on Saturday, June 4. Boothbay’s Kayden Ames won the State Class C discus championship with a throw of 143’11”. Lincoln Academy’s Erica Johnson won the State Class B triple jump (34’7″). Medomak Valley’s Annie Vannoy won the State Class B 800-meter run in 2:20.58.

The Busline League softball championship game was all Medomak on June 7 in Waldoboro, as North Division champions Medomak 8th took on undefeated South Division champions Medomak 7th.

Lincoln Academy girls tennis team defeated Cape Elizabeth 5-0 on June 7 to win the South Class B Regional championship. The Regional title game was held at Bates College in Lewiston. The State championship will be held on June 11 at Lewiston High School.
