James Adam Guptill, fondly known as “Bub,” passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2021. He was born on July 17, 1987 to Charles and Vicky Lynn (Simmons) Guptill in Rockport.
Bremen Pie Sale to Benefit Scholarship Fund
On July 3, The Patriotic Club of Bremen will hold a pie sale to benefit its scholarship fund. The Patriotic Club gives a $500 scholarship to every high school student from Bremen who graduates and goes on to further education.
Music Class for Kids at Skidompha
Skidompha Library is excited to welcome Vanessa Levat, from Music Together of Bath/Brunswick, to its virtual kids programming this July. Levat will be teaching a free four-week music class for the community. Classes will take place on Zoom at 10 a.m. every Tuesday in July.
Ice Cream Social at Thompson Ice House
The historic Thompson Ice House in South Bristol will hold its annual ice cream social Saturday, July 3.

The Round Pond UMC, the White Church, began in 1853 and has served the community faithfully for all these years. Due to declining membership and financial constraints they will be closing at the end of this month. They would like to invite the community to their closing service on Sunday, June 27 at 2 p.m.
LA Summer Basketball Camp
