Donald J. Nadeau, 66, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020 at RiverRidge Center in Kennebunk. He was born in Fort Kent to Joseph V. Nadeau and Bernice (Madore) Nadeau.

UMaine Extension 4-H Offers New Club for Youth of All Ages

University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H is offering a new club for youth, ages 5 – 19, who are interested in becoming 4-H members. Meetings will be held from 6 – 7 p.m. on Nov. 18, Dec. 16, and Jan. 20.

Anne C. “Nancy” Booth died peacefully at home in Newcastle on the evening of Nov. 3, 2020, after a brief bout with pneumonia. She was surrounded by nephew Steve Booth and her usual caregivers.

Conservancy Accepts Land Donation in Newcastle

Last week, Roland Barth, of Alna, generously donated 25 acres of Newcastle woods and wetlands to Midcoast Conservancy in memory of his late father, the Reverend Joseph Barth. Rev. Barth, with Roland’s brother Nick, founded the Sheepscot Valley Conservation Association in 1966. The association subsequently became a founding member of Midcoast Conservancy.

Florence “Fondy” York, 83, of Nobleboro, passed away after a quiet and courageous battle with cancer on the morning of Nov. 7, 2020 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta.
