Older Pemaquid Mill Photo Discovered

The Old Bristol Historical Society has obtained a photo of the old Mill at Pemaquid Falls which is approximately 14 years older than the earliest photo of the building previously held in the society’s collection, dating to 1896.

Library Offers Curbside Pickup

Pickup and Patio Open at Glidden Point

Glidden Point Oyster Farms, located in Edgecomb, is open for the season seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are “shuck-your-own” oysters, clams, and mussels available, as well as beer, wine, and snacks for curbside pickup or dine-in on the outdoor patio. Seating is limited and reservations can be made by calling 315-7066.

Alice Boe Laird, beloved mother and cherished friend, died peacefully July 16, 2020 at Cove’s Edge long-term care facility in Damariscotta.
