Pemaquid Artists Launch Notecard Sales
The Pemaquid Group of Artists has announced the launch of a notecard initiative for its 92nd season. There are two sets of notecards and each will consist of a box of ten assorted full-color reproduction cards and envelopes. Each card is a recreation of an original painting by a member artist. The price for a set of ten is $20, plus Maine sales tax. The boxed sets offer beautiful glimpses of Midcoast Maine and make excellent gifts and remembrances.c

Veggies to Table Expands Growth, Partnerships
Veggies to Table is excited to enter into its second season as a grow-to-donate farm in Newcastle. Despite challenging times, the Veggies to Table team is ready to serve their community by growing fresh organic produce to donate to those experiencing food insecurity. In its first season the farm donated more than 4,350 pounds of organic produce to community members in need. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, that need is even greater now, and the farm plans to double the amount of food donated this year.

The Saltwater Artists Gallery welcomes Beth Badger of Brunswick as a new exhibitor in its gallery. Badger is a Maine contemporary realist who tells stories in paint. Her pictures convey moods and emotions of the environment that surround her.
Local Student Earns Degree from University of Northern Colorado
Carla White, of Waldoboro, has earned a doctorate of audiology from the University of Northern Colorado. Due to COVID-19, the university has rescheduled the spring’s in-person commencement ceremony for December 2020.
