Back on March 15, Maine celebrated its 200th birthday, albeit more quietly than originally anticipated. LA Grads Organize Backyard Runathon to Benefit Local Businesses
Three Lincoln Academy cross-country alumni have organized a 24-hour Backyard Runathon to raise funds for Damariscotta-area businesses. Sam Russ, a 2019 graduate; Emma Allen, 2018; and Essie Martin, 2017, “came up with the idea when thinking of what we could do to support small businesses during the pandemic,” Martin said.
