After enduring a long, complicated hospitalization, Bill Shaffer died peacefully on March 10, 2022, at Sussman House in Rockport where his family and friends gathered, told stories, and shared laughter and his favorite foods with him in his final days.

William W. Dagley, 90, of Nobleboro, formerly of Gloucester, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband to Virginia (Moore) Dagley with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.

Sharon Fowler Leeman, age 78, died at home surrounded by her loving family and friends on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Jan Faulstich passed away Feb. 4, 2022. She grew up in Hawthorne, N.Y. and attended Briarcliff High School and Hope College in Michigan, taking a year-and-a-half “gap year” in the middle to study and travel in Europe.

Edgar “Skip” Bowman, 74, passed away on the morning of March 9, 2022 after battling many health complications. He was born on Oct. 18, 1947 in Rockland, the son of the late Edgar Bowman Sr. and the late Barbara Bowman.

Clifford Springer Russell died March 5, 2022 in Scarborough from complications of dementia after several years of declining health. Cliff was a scholar, teacher, research leader, author, keen fly-fisherman, world traveler, avid tennis and squash player, proud stepfather and grandfather, and loving husband.

Carole Ann Jewett (Snyder), 57, of Alna, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2022. She was born in Pleasantville, N.J. in 1964 to Betty and Kenneth Snyder Sr.
