David A. Little, 69, of Nobleboro, passed away in the early morning hours of Feb. 26, 2022 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Born on Nov. 17, 1952 in Miami, Fla., he was the son of Samuel Little and Ruth (Erskine) Brewer.

Peter Benner, 47, of Nobleboro, passed away peacefully at his home on the evening of Feb. 18, 2022, due to complications from ongoing severe kidney failure and COVID-19.

Carol Ann DiPrima Rankin, born on April 3, 1961 in Groton, Mass., passed away surrounded by her family on Feb. 18, 2022 at Maine Medical Center in Portland as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.

Tuesday mornings are vegetable packing days at Healthy Lincoln County, where we sort fresh food, pack boxes, and distribute to our share table partners. Our wheelhouse is food procurement; we pick up donations from local farms and partners, but the real magic comes once the food leaves our hands.

Lucille H. Conary passed away peacefully on the morning of Feb. 24, 2022, after being lovingly cared for by her family. She was 90 years old. She was born on May 14, 1931, the fourth of 10 children of the late Benjamin and Bertha Moody Perry.

These last two years have been full of change, and to keep the trend going, the library will be changing its phone number. If we’ve learned anything from all this transition, it’s how to be flexible. We know this process will take time, so we’ll extend it into the summer to allow everyone (especially us!) to get used to our new numbers.

Skidompha Book Shop Expands Donation Hours

The Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop is now accepting donations four full days a week instead of one. Donors are invited to leave books between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
