Rodney “Rod” Elbert Harrington, 93, died peacefully on July 18, 2025, with his wife, Ilga, and daughter, Jennifer, at his side with the sounds of a recording of his playing the piano. He was born on Jan. 9, 1932, in Mayville, N.D., son of Elbert and Marjorie Mayberry Harrington.

Pemaquid Beach Triathlon Set for Aug. 24 Submitted article

All skill levels are welcome at the Pemaquid Beach Triathlon, taking place this year on Sunday, Aug. 24. The triathlon is a fundraiser for Bristol Parks and Recreation. Proceeds will be used to build a playground at Pemaquid Beach Park.

Carolyn Hanna, 87, of Rockport, Mass. died peacefully of natural causes on Monday, July 21, 2025. Her daughter Meagan, who cared for her in her home in recent years, was by her side.
