Bulldogs Bite Seahawks in MVC Finale Madison 67 - Boothbay 62
Madison robbed the Seahawk nest for a 67-62 win on Feb. 10 in their MVC season finale. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 22-8 first quarter lead.
Boothbay Girls Beat Wiscasset in MVC Finale Boothbay 63 - Wiscasset 19
Boothbay girls basketball team defeated Wiscasset 63-19 in their final MVC game of the season on Feb. 10 in the Seahawk nest. Boothbay was led by Jaelyn Crocker with 29 and Katheryn Hibbard 9. Wiscasset was led by Latisha Wright, Liala Dicus and Qiana Hyman with 4 each.

Lincoln Academy boys basketball team wrapped up their KVAC season with a 60-37 win over Belfast on Feb. 10 in the Eagle nest. The Eagles were led by Gabe Hagar with 13, Lucas Houghton 12, and Tucker Stiles 11. Belfast was led by Keegan McGowan with 11 and James Ritter 9.

Medomak Valley boys basketball team won the battle of the Panthers on Feb. 9, 67-42 on the road at Waterville. Medomak finishes their KVAC season with a 14 win, four loss record.

Boothbay girls basketball team defeated Mt.Abram 60-28 in the Seahawk nest on Feb. 9.
Waterville Wins Battle of the Panthers Waterville 35 - Medomak 34
Waterville defeated Medomak Valley 35-34 in KVAC girls basketball action on Feb. 9, in Waldoboro. Medomak spotted Waterville the first 10 points of the ball game then played catch up for the remainder of the game. Trailing by 10 at the half, Medomak scored the first eight points of the third quarter to pull within two.
Proof of Vaccination, Photo ID Needed at Portland Tournaments Or negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours
Anyone planning on attending a basketball tournament in Portland, have paperwork ready. Both the Portland Expo and Cross Insurance Arena are requiring proof of vaccination cards and a photo ID, or proof of a negative test within the past 72 hours and photo ID to attend basketball games at their facilities. Masks are also required.

Lincoln Academy girls basketball team defeated Camden Hills 46-25 in the Eagles nest on Feb. 8. The Lady Eagles were led by Payson Kaler with 27 points. Grace Houghton ripped down 18 rebounds in the win. Camden was led by Matalin Luce and A. Johnson with 5 each.

Medomak Valley girls basketball team raided the Black Bear den at Maranacook for a 37-36 win on Feb. 7.
Morse Boys and Girls Swim to KVAC Championship Arden Carleton wins 100 butterfly for Lady Eagles
Morse boys and girls swam to a KVAC Class B championship on Feb. 7 at the Bath YMCA. Belfast was runner-ups in both the boys and girls. Lincoln Academy girls placed fourth, and the boys tied Erskine Academy for sixth place.
