Medomak Softball Split Games Beat Leavitt, fall to Morse
Medomak Valley softball defeated Leavitt 7-3 on April 22. Maddy Boynton stuck out 11 in the win. The Lady Panthers were led at the plate by Haley Puchalski with a double and single, and Addison McCormick and Grace White with two singles each. Leavitt was led by Sarah Perkins with two singles, and Emily Poland a double.

Medomak Valley softball opened their KVAC season with a 6-4 win over visiting Waterville on April 20. Maddy Boynton struck out nine in the win, and Raylee Gilbert eight in the loss.

Wiscasset Summer Basketball Camp Resumes Open gym and summer basketball to be held
Wiscasset boys and girls summer basketball camp will resume this year after not having a program for a couple of years. Wiscasset high school coaches Rick Larrabee (boys) and Bob ‘Radar’ Applebee (girls) will be co-directors of the camp, which will be held at the Wiscasset Community Center. High school players will help at the camp.

Four Local Athletes Named to Maine McDonald’s Senior All-Star Teams
Four local athletes have been named to Maine McDonald’s Senior All-star teams. Trevor Brown and Patrick McKenney will represent Medomak Valley on the AA/A/B South team, which will be played at 11:15 a.m. at Husson University in Bangor.
Yarmouth Clips the Panthers for Regional Title Yarmouth 47 - Medomak 35
Yarmouth defeated Medomak Valley 47-35 to win the South Class B Regional championship and advance to the State title game. The Panthers jumped out to a 12-5 first quarter lead, led 21-20 at the half, and trailed 31-28 at the end of three.
Panthers Maul the Bears, Headed to Regional Title Game Medomak 77 - Maranacook 49
Medomak Valley boys basketball team defeated Maranacook 77-49 on Feb. 22 in a South Class B Regional semi-final game at the Portland Expo. With the win, the Panthers advance to the South B Regional championship game, to be held on Friday, Feb. 25 at 3:45 p.m.
