Four Boothbay-Wiscasset cross country runners placed in the top 30 at the State Class C championships, held Oct. 30 at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast.

Both Lincoln Academy girls and boys were presented South Class B Sportsmanship banners at the State Class B cross country closing ceremonies on Saturday, Oct. 30 at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast. Lincoln boys were co-sportsmanship award recipients.

Medomak Valley senior Connor Daigle ran to a State Class B cross country championship in a muddy affair on Oct. 30 at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast.

Medomak Valley girls soccer team sent Wells packing in a South Class B quarter-final match-up at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle on Oct. 28. The Lady Panthers took a 1-0 halftime lead on an unassisted goal from Annie Vannoy.

Coastal Christian defeated Oxford Hills Christian Academy 1-0 on Oct. 28 at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle to advance to the MCSSL championships, to be held on Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. at Deering High School in Portland.

Boothbay-Wiscasset boys cross country team placed second at the South Class C Regional championships held in Cumberland on Oct. 23, to qualify for States. Qualifying as individuals were 9. Lucas Hardwick, 10. Gryffin Kristan, 11. Dominich Dow, and 13. Ryan Clark.

Medomak Valley girls soccer team defeated Lake Region 2-1 in a South Class B preliminary game on Oct. 23 in Waldoboro.

Erskine Academy defeated Lincoln Academy 3-0 in a South Class B preliminary girls soccer game on Oct. 23. Mackenzie Roderick netted two goals, Gabriela Sasse one, and Riley Reithchel hand an assist.

Medomak Valley senior Connor Daigle ran to first place at the North Class B Regional championships, held Oct. 23 in Belfast. Daigle ran his best time on the course in 15:53.52 to win the Regional crown.
