Medomak Valley girls soccer South Class B quarter-final game against Wells, scheduled to be played on Wednesday, Oct. 27 has been postponed. The game will now be played on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 6:30 p.m. The game will be played at Lincoln Academy.

LA Cross Country Girls Place Third, Boys Seventh South B Regional cross country
Lincoln Academy girls cross country team placed third and the boys seventh out of 14 teams at the South Class B Regionals on Oct. 23.
Connor Daigle Wins North B Regional Cross Country Three Panthers qualify for States
Medomak Valley senior Connor Daigle ran to first place at the North Class B Regional championships, held Oct. 23 in Belfast. Daigle ran his best time on the course in 15:53.52 to win the Regional crown.

MMS Boys and Girls Advance to Busline Finals
Medomak Middle School boys and girls soccer teams defeated Oceanside on Oct. 20 to advance to the Busline League championships, to be held Oct. 23 at Lookout Point in Lincolnville. The girls play at 10 a.m. and the boys at 12 noon.

Medomak Valley boys soccer team defeated Belfast 3-0 on Oct 19 to pick up their 11th straight win. The Panthers wrap up their KVAC season with a 12-2 record.
Lady Eagles Close Out KVAC Season with a Win Lincoln 2 - Gardiner 0
Lincoln Academy girls soccer team closed out their KVAC season with a 2-0 win over Gardiner under the lights in Newcastle. Cat Johnson scored off a Skyler Houghton cross in the first half, and Marley LeBel scored early in the second half.

Dr. Stephen Reed, of Wiscasset, will turn 74 soon, but he did not let his age, an injured foot, or an artificial hip deter him from running his 31st straight Boston Marathon on Monday, Oct. 11.
