Bristol Road Galleries Open for Season
The Bristol Road Galleries announces it is opening for the 2020 season. The Bristol Road Galleries is a collaboration of four artists, whose galleries are all within walking distance of each other on the Bristol Road. They include sculptor Marnie Sinclair, watercolorists Jan Kilburn and Kathleen Horst, and oil painter Will Kefauver. Each gallery will open in a different manner this year.
Performances Coming to Opera House
The historic Opera House stage in Boothbay Harbor has been silent since March, but will welcome performers and a limited number of audience members beginning in July. While the first concert featuring The Boneheads on July 3 has already sold out, tickets are currently available for all other July performances, which are described below.

Tops’l Farm, Waldo Theatre Partner to host ‘Films at the Farm’
Tops’l Farm and the Waldo Theatre are partnering this summer to offer three “Films at the Farm” events. The films include “The Princess Bride” scheduled for July 2 and 3, “Napoleon Dynamite” on July 30 and 31, and “Hidden Figures” on August 6 and 7, as a fundraiser for Black Lives Matter. These outdoor, picnic-blanket “drive-in” events will be held at Tops’l Farm at 365 Bremen Road.

Pemaquid Artists Launch Notecard Sales
The Pemaquid Group of Artists has announced the launch of a notecard initiative for its 92nd season. There are two sets of notecards and each will consist of a box of ten assorted full-color reproduction cards and envelopes. Each card is a recreation of an original painting by a member artist. The price for a set of ten is $20, plus Maine sales tax. The boxed sets offer beautiful glimpses of Midcoast Maine and make excellent gifts and remembrances.c
