It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Steven J. White, an incredible husband, dad, father-in-law, and friend. A truly selfless man, Steve would do anything for his loved ones, especially his wife, Judy “Mumma,” and his daughter, Danielle, his “egg”. His passing will leave an enormous, unfillable hole in the hearts of many.

Joan J. Beley, 88, of Rockland, passed away on March 12, 2023, at Horizons Living and Rehabilitation, in Brunswick after a period of declining health. She was born in 1934 in Worcester, Mass., to Beatrice and Emile Lareau. She married George Beley in 1951 in Worcester, Mass. Shortly thereafter, George became a career airman, and they began their long military journey together.

Richard Ohnmeis Montag, of Whitefield, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 16. He came to trust the Lord as his Savior while in his mid-20s. He was born on May 8, 1936 in Pittsburgh, Pa. to Geraldine Ohnmeis Montag and Theodore William Montag. He was predeceased by his parents; and his two brothers, Theodore William Montag Jr. and David John Montag.

Allen Michael Glick, 81, of Umatilla, Fla., formerly of Framingham, Mass., Barnard, Vt., and New Harbor, died peacefully at home on March 12, 2023.

William B. Wade, 78, of Raymond, died March 7, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Gloria M. Romero, a resident of Winchendon, Mass., passed away peacefully at her home on March 9, 2023, at the age of 92.

Stephen Williams Foote, 80, died in his sleep on March 8, at home in Damariscotta.

Rodney “Rowdy” C. Foye, 63, of Nobleboro, passed away peacefully on the morning of March 12, 2023, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Damariscotta on April 17, 1959, he was the son of Merle and Arlene (Dalton) Foye.

David E. Rice, a lifelong resident of Walpole, passed away quietly in his sleep on March 11, 2023 at the age of 77.

Eldon “Don” Clark Hunt Jr. passed away on the morning of March 11, 2023, at his home in Newcastle. Born in Damariscotta on Valentine’s Day in 1949, he was the fourth of five sons born to Eldon C. Hunt and Ethyl Beryl Hodgkins Hunt.

David Frank Hinds, 69, passed away on Friday, Feb. 24, at his home in Damariscotta. He was born to George Lafayette Hinds and Helen Lucille Dees Hinds in Houston, Texas on Feb. 11, 1954.

It is with crushing sorrow that the family of Robert David Petti, of Damariscotta, announces his passing on March 4, 2023, after suffering a stroke while at home.
