Charles Robert “Bob” Ruffing passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home in Damariscotta on Feb. 2, 2022. He was 93 years old when he passed, after a long life spent as a brilliant inventor, an intrepid explorer of the outdoors, a committed utterer of non sequiturs, and the beloved patriarch of a large and deeply connected family.

Eleanor Mae Gray was born in 1927 in Worcester Ma. to Benedict E. and Mary Margaret (Grimala) Nevalsky. She was raised in the Depression era, the granddaughter of Lithuanian immigrants.

Joyce Marie Bartlett, 68, passed away unexpectedly Nov. 26, 2021 at Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan. She was born at home in North Whitefield on March 15, 1953, daughter of William E. and Frederica G. Bartlett.

Virginia “Ginny” Cooper, 93, longtime resident of Wiscasset, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, following a brief stay at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Donna Glee Lockard Sciascia, 90, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, at Sunnybrook Village.

Margaret Jones Lord, born in Philadelphia Pa., Sept. 1, 1932, died peacefully in Topsham on Feb. 3, 2022. Margaret, or Peggy as she was known to friends and family, lived a full life.

Andrew “Andy” James Archer Kennedy, 58, died unexpectedly Feb. 10, 2022 in Nobleboro.

Evie Graham, of Jefferson, died unexpectedly on Feb. 6, 2022, from complications related to the heart.

Louis Richard Mucci, of Alna, passed away at home Feb. 2, 2022 from Parkinson’s related health issues at the age of 84 with his wife, son, and two daughters at his side.

Eleanor “Ellee” Lee Simons, of Waldoboro and Florida, died Feb. 5, 2022 from complications of cancer and COVID-19. It wasn’t a long period for her illness and very sudden.

Katherine F. Norwood, 91, of South Bristol, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. She was born on May 3, 1930 in South Bristol to Clifton and Fannie Poole. She grew up and attended school in South Bristol, and graduated from Lincoln Academy in 1948.

Claudette Jean Jones, 83, of Cushing, passed peacefully in the comfort of her home on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022. Claudette was born in Belfast on July 21, 1938, to parents Cecil Tower and Elsie Sanborn Tower.
