Beverly Townsend Rawson-Dibble, 99, of Satellite Beach, Fla., passed away peacefully on Feb. 9, 2023. She was born on Jan. 20, 1924, in Boothbay Harbor, the daughter of George Martin Townsend and Dorothy Lee Reed.

Cathy W. York, 72, of Damariscotta, passed away on the afternoon of April 4, 2023. Born on Oct. 23, 1950, she was the second oldest of five children born to Keith and Frances Winchenbach.

Joan Aline Butterman Tyler Smith passed away peacefully in Santa Rosa, Calif., on March 19, 2023. She was 87 years of age. She was born to Richard L. Butterman and Eileen (Gordon) Butterman in July of 1935, in the town of Chester, Mass.

Paula A. Foster, 91, of Bristol, and Venice, Fla., died peacefully at home on March 31, surrounded by family after a recent decline in health.

Dale Allen Boyington, 45, of Waldoboro passed away on March 29, 2023, while on the water doing what he loved, clamming with his nephew, Dustin Day, and close friend, Tommy Gaudette. He was born on May 21, 1977 to Muriel Winchenbach. Dale’s parents, Ralph and Charlene Boyington, adopted him at birth. He was incredibly close with his parents and grateful for the family they gave him. He joined older siblings Veronica, Bubba, and Trisha, and was affectionately known as “Baby Dale.”

Doris Isabel Mortimer, 84, of Bremen, passed away peacefully on the morning of March 22, 2023, at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta, where she had been residing. Born on May 22, 1938 in Dorchester, Mass., she was the daughter of Kenneth and Isabella (Wilson) Davis.

Jan Lea West Schrock, 86, formerly of Portland, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2023, in Camden. She was born in Newville, Pa. to Lucille (Sherck) West (Rupel) and Dan West on August 30, 1936.

George Bernard Fahey was born on May 19, 1930 in Lewiston, and raised in Portland. He graduated from Deering High School in 1948 and belonged to the Lake Marine High School Fraternity.

Roy P. Bishop III died on April 1, 2023 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

Eva Virginia Grace, 72, of Wiscasset, passed away on the morning of March 26, 2023, at the Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, after a period of declining health. Born in Providence, R.I. on March 11, 1951, she was the daughter of Andrew and Yvonne Vaccaro.

John N. Nice, 75, of Jefferson, died Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at home. John was born in Sellersville, Pa., son to the late Joseph and Dorothy Nice. John married his college sweetheart, Elizabeth Olson, on July 12, 1969. They moved to Maine in 1972, where John enjoyed a long career in sporting good sales and as part owner of their souvenir business. With the gift of hospitality, John and Liz were well known for opening their home to any in need.

Douglas E. Clark, 71, passed away at his home in Bristol, on March 29, 2023. Born on September 5, 1951 in Clinton, Mass., he was the son of Frank and Marjorie (Coolidge) Clark.
