Janet L. Claar, 78, passed away peacefully at Round Pond Green in Round Pond, after a long-standing illness, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

Patricia Ann (Bordewieck) Simmonds, 64, of Round Pond, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 10, 2022, after a long and tenacious battle with lung cancer.

Florence Marie (Griffin) Hutchins passed away at her home in Jefferson on March 24, 2022, at the age of 92.

Shayna Lyn Bartolotta, “Bop” – mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, best friend – passed away on the afternoon of April 2, 2022, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Marilyn Jean Bredeau, 62, of Waldoboro, passed away on April 4, 2022. Marilyn was born in Damariscotta on March 3, 1960, the daughter of Ella (Willey) and Daniel Benner.

Joan Mary Melvin, 87, of Zionsville, Ind., passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Lin Whittaker, also of Zionsville; her son, Douglas Melvin, of Jupiter, Fla.; her daughter, Valerie Melvin Cortelyou, of Carmel, Ind.; and three grandchildren, Nicole, Jacob and Marielle Cortelyou.

Eric Wilson Hartmann, age 58, of Edgecomb, died surrounded by loved ones on March 23, 2022, at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Eric was born in Santiago, Chile, to the late Shannon (Wilson) and William Hartmann.

On Wednesday, March 30, 2022 Ben Welch, shortly after his 86th birthday, passed due to heart complications. He was surrounded by his family at the time.

Amber M. Greene, 34, of Oak Street, Brunswick, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Mid Coast Hospital with family by her side.

Paul Dickson, 73, a lifelong Wiscasset resident, passed peacefully at his home with family on Thursday, March 24, 2022. He leaves behind a wife of 52 years, Diana Betts Dickson; sister, Ann Martha Wright; three children, Bruce (wife Rachel), Kimberly, and Michael, and his four grandchildren, Christopher, Cody, Nathaniel and Jacob; along with his great-grandchild, Brayden.

David A. Benner, Sr., 88, of Nobleboro, passed away on the morning of March 13, 2022, at LincolnHealth-Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Born on July 14, 1933, in Nobleboro, he was the son of Arthur and Helen Benner.
