Starr A. Barry, artist, spiritual explorer, colleague, friend, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on April 16, 2022, following a courageous battle with mesothelioma. She was 77 years of age.

Marilyn Ann Leeman, 82, of Round Pond, died on Tuesday evening, April 19, 2022, at the Miles Campus of LincolnHealth in Damariscotta with her loving family by her side.

Alan Barnes Cheney passed away peacefully on April 17, 2022, at the Sussman House in Rockport after enduring a long battle with cancer. Born in Lynn, Mass., on July 26, 1941, he was the son of Raymond Cheney Jr. and Helen (Ossoling) Cheney.

Kenneth P. Chaney, 102, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022, at the Maine Veterans’ Homes in Augusta, where he had been cared for since September 2016. Born on Nov. 15, 1919, in Bath, he spent a good deal of his time at his Grandfather Chaney’s farm on Golden Ridge Road in Alna.

John Henry Lorenzen, 70, of Farmingdale, died April 23, 2022, after a short illness, at the Alfond Center for Health.

Elizabeth H. Morgner, 94, of Phipps Point Road, Woolwich, died Monday, April 18, 2022, at Winship Green in Bath.

Jane Lichtman, age 99.5, affectionately known as the “Mayor of Main Street, Waldoboro,” and to many as “Nana” or “Bubbe,” passed away peacefully on April 5, 2022, in Camden.

Marilyn Allen Blanchard, 76, of Bangor, formerly of Damariscotta, died on April 15, 2022, at Northern Light EMMC after a long fight with lung cancer and COPD.

A graveside service for Norma Jean Osier, of Bremen, who passed away on Jan. 29, 2022, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 14 at the Evergreen Cemetery, Medomak Road in Bremen. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the Duck Puddle Campground, 60 Campground Road in Nobleboro.

Lawrence (Larry) was born on Dec. 21, 1937, in Avon, the son of Lawrence Gordon Sr. and Mahla Churchill Gordon.
