Ronald Paul Toussaint, 87, passed from this life at the Sussman House on July 30, 2025. He was born in Port Chester, N.Y. in March 1938. He graduated from Upper Darby High School in Pennsylvania and had a long and successful management career at State Farm Insurance Co. in Springfield, Pa. for 43 years.

Diane “Di” Silar (“call me Di, like the princess”) beloved wife, mother, Gigi/Nonnie, friend, and community leader, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, surrounded by family and love after a courageous battle with cancer. Di was a radiant spirit whose warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

Pande “Paul” Stevens passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025 at the beautiful Sussman Home under hospice care in Rockport. He was 95 years old and surrounded by his loving wife and best friend, Rita, along with his children and grandchildren.

Sadly, we are grieving the untimely death of Adam Benner on July 28, 2025. We will certainly miss his bright blue eyes and big smile. We will miss his fun-loving ways and his jokes. We will even miss his argumentative nature; heaven help you if he was right.

Sharon Gladys (Simmons) Smith, 80, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at home on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Bradley Alton Miller, 74, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025 at the Sussman House in Rockport with his family by his side. He was born on Dec. 15, 1950, in Waldoboro, the second son of Lemuel and Geraldine (Levensaler) Miller. He lived in Cushing until he was 10, when the family moved to Waldoboro.

Mary (Cooper) Alcox, 82, died Saturday, July 19, 2025 at St. Andrews Village Healthcare Center in Boothbay Harbor.

Mary W. Perkins, a longtime resident of Hamilton, Mass. and Round Pond, passed away on July 16, two weeks after celebrating her 102nd birthday. “Moots,” as she became known to her grandchildren and family, deeply touched and influenced the lives of her family and many true friends across the generations and will be missed dearly.

The Midcoast community lost a bright light on July 8, 2025 when Ethel Stansfield passed peacefully away.

Norman H. Bragg, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully at his home on July 10, 2025 with his adult children at his side. He was born in 1929 to Calvin and Ella Bragg at the family farm in Waldoboro.
