Richard H. Poland Sr., 85, of Bristol, passed away on the morning of March 30, 2020 at the LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta.

Harvey Frederick Lund passed in the comfort of the Gosnell House hospice care on the morning of March 24, 2020. Born on Jan. 23, 1945, he spent his final years battling Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia.

Jack O. Brackett, 83, of New Harbor, passed away on the morning of March 24, 2020 at the Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. Born on Aug. 30, 1936 in Portland, he was the son of Linwood and Una Brackett.

Elden Carroll Beane, 81, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2020 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockland. He was born April 2, 1938 in Damariscotta. He was born to Harry C. Beane and Bessie Mae (Carroll) Beane.

Willa C. Boothby Peck Vinal, 89, died on March 29, 2020 at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor. Willa was born on March 20, 1931, in Limington to Russell and Florence Macphail Boothby.

Mary Hazel Lane Genthner, 86, of Pemaquid, passed away on the evening of March 27, 2020 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. She was the last surviving member of 14 children in the Perlie and Flora Lane family.

Charles L. Bailey, 81, of Damariscotta, formerly of Edgecomb, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020.

Longtime entrepreneur and car dealer, William (Bill) Ussery, 84, passed away last week at Lakeland Regional Hospital in Lakeland, Fla. surrounded by his loving family.

Carolyn (Carrie) Rose Hirchert Thomas, 91, of Cumberland Foreside, passed away on March 11, 2020. Carrie was born in Passaic, N.J. on March 17, 1928. She was the daughter of Charles Hatheway Hirchert and Olive Prescott Hirchert, and stepdaughter of Marjorie Walrath Hirchert.  Carrie spent every summer in Christmas Cove, where she met the love of her life, Charlie Thomas.

George E. Leino, 74, of Friendship, husband of the late Brenda Huff Leino, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends in Waldoboro on March 18, 2020.  Born Aug. 17, 1945 in Quincy, Mass., he was the son of Edward J. and Mildred Teirila Leino.
