Teresa Sharon Tolman-Brooks, 64, of Waldoboro, passed away on June 28, 2023 while with family in Utah. Though unexpected, she passed peacefully and did not suffer.

Raymond Daniel “Danny” Cheney, 83, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2023, after battling kidney disease due to anaplasmosis. He was born to Raymond P. Cheney and Helen Oslin Cheney on Jan. 16, 1940 in Boothbay Harbor. Dan was a kind, humble, hardworking family man with a group of diverse friends. He would always share great stories with anyone who would listen.

Homer David Eckhardt, 98, of Lincoln, Mass., died peacefully in his sleep on Monday, June 26, 2023. He was the loving husband for 54 years of Beverly Hillmann Eckhardt, with whom he had recently moved to the residence of at Paine Estate in Wayland, Mass.

Floyd “Kelly” Callahan, 65, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Portland, on June 26, 2023. Born on July 15, 1957 in Damariscotta, he was the son of Richard and Bethiah (Steer) Callahan.

Nathanael Wyatt Read, 10, of Waldoboro and Warren, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 26, 2023, at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland after a long and heroic nine-month battle with leukemia. Nathanael was born on March 16, 2013, to Cynquany (Gregory) Read and Levi Read.
