Maine Musicians to Wrap Up Concert Season at Opera House

The historic Opera House stage in Boothbay Harbor will showcase the talents of Maine musicians during the final two live concerts of the 2021 season. Regional favorites, The Boneheads will take to the stage on Saturday, Nov. 13. A week later, the last concert of the season, Hallowell-based musicians will present The Last Waltz on Nov. 19.

Barbara Ann Wade, of Walpole, died peacefully at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta, on Nov. 11, 2021, at the age of 72, and is now home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jeffrey P. Lawson, 68, passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of Nov. 15, 2021 at his home in Walpole.

Recently, I came across an article written by Janet Ann Clement for The Lincoln County News on Oct. 2, 1993. It was the story of how a family was able to come from The Netherlands to enjoy life here. Wilhelmus and Lida Kool came to the United States in the hope of finding a better way of life for themselves and their son.

The Alna Food Pantry is located on the back lower level of the town office, 1574 Alna Road. It is open Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 5 p.m.  All area residents are welcome, no questions asked.

Joseph E. Packard, 81, of Waldoboro passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side Nov. 10, 2021. He was born Sept. 3, 1940, to Raymond and Alice Wadlin Packard at the family farm in Monroe.
