The Lincoln Academy baseball team lost their season opener 4-2 to Oceanside on Friday, April 25 in Newcastle. The Eagles fell behind 4-0 in the third inning and could not claw their way back despite scoring a run in each of the fourth and fifth innings.

The Medomak Valley baseball team defeated Morse 7-3 on Monday, April 28 in Bath. The turning point in the game came in the top of the fifth inning when the Panthers rallied to score three runs that expanded their advantage to 5-1.

The Lincoln Academy boys lacrosse team beat Morse 10-9 in overtime on Monday, April 28 in Newcastle. In the opening minute of the extra session, attackman Isaac Rich sliced through multiple Morse defenders to notch his fourth goal of the game to boost the Eagles to a dramatic victory.

The Lincoln Academy boys track and field team placed third and the girls placed fourth at a five-school KVAC track meet Thursday, April 24 in Brunswick. The host, Brunswick, won both the girls and boys meets, which also included Mt. Blue, Maine Central Institute, and Oceanside.

The Lincoln Academy girls basketball team lost 65-57 to Spruce Mountain in overtime in a Class B South quarterfinal match on February 15 at the Portland Expo. The nine seed Eagles gave the top seed Phoenix all they could handle as Lincoln took an early lead and challenged them from start to finish. Spruce Mountain rallied to a 53-51 lead and was attempting to inbound the ball with 15 seconds remaining when Lincoln Academy’s Chloe Anderson picked off the pass and scored a layup to tie the game 53-53 and send it to overtime. Spruce Mountain outscored the Eagles 12-4 in the extra session. Lincoln’s Mariam DeLisle led all scorers in the game with 28 points, including 16 in the first half when the Eagles surged into the lead.
